Addison Matthews, daughter of Andrew and Melissa Matthews, will be continuing her academic and athletic career at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she will be running cross country and track and field. She was a part of the 2024 all division 1 team for cross country, and received all division 1 honorable mention 2022 and 2023. Addison placed 6th in the county championships in the 3200-meter run last year for track and field. In 2023 Addison was a state qualifier for cross country, and has been a part of 2 county championship titles. She was also a captain of the cross country and track and field teams this year. Academically, Addison has received the highest honor roll throughout her high school career, and has accumulated 17 college credits. Gavin Miller, a student-athlete who will be continuing his academic and athletic journey at Shepherd University. Gavin has been accepted into the Political Science | Pre-Law program and has also earned a scholarship to play baseball for the Rams. Throughout his time at Exeter High School, Gavin has consistently demonstrated excellence both in the classroom and on the field. Academically, he has earned gold and silver honor roll awards each year.
On the baseball field, Gavin was named to the Berks All Division Team during his sophomore and junior years. A 3-year member of the varsity team, he has accumulated over 100 strikeouts. He has also received numerous accolades for his summer team, including the Most Valuable Pitcher award during a showcase tournament. Gavin would like to thank his parents, sister, grandparents, teammates & friends for their support & encouragement. Alexis Nonnemacher, daughter of Ellen and Ben Nonnemacher, will be continuing her academic and athletic career at West Chester University where she will be pursuing a degree in business and competing on the university’s swim team. She is the captain of the swim & dive team, team MVP this year, 3x state team, and named honorable mention all-conference 2 years in a row. She also competes for the Reading YMCA Swim Team year-round; a 6x YMCA state team and multi-medalist. Academically, she is an AP scholar, has been on the Gold Eagle honor roll throughout high school, and is the president of National Honors Society. Mackenzie O'Brien, daughter of Aaron and Pam O'Brien, will be continuing her academic and athletic career at West Virginia Wesleyan College. She will be majoring in nursing and playing softball. In 2024 she was named on the Softball All Division 1 Team and also selected to the Berks/L/L Carpenter Cup Team. She has also been a member of the Girls Cross Country Team for 4 years and 2 years on the Winter Track team. Academically, Mackenzie has been on the Gold Eagle honor roll throughout high school. Justin Prizer, son of Brian and Kelli Prizer will be attending Wilkes University this fall to play football, and major in sports management. Justin has played many sports during his youth and high school years, but football and lacrosse have been his passion. Justin had his most successful football season during his senior year playing multiple positions on both sides of the ball. Carter Redding - Son of Steph and Tim Redding will be attending East Stroudsburg University to play football. He was the WR of the year in the Lancaster-Lebanon League and made all conference for offense and defense in both the county and the league. Carter played varsity basketball and baseball and was a part of Gold and Silver Eagle throughout high school. Aiden Rhoades, son of Stephen Rhoades and Megan & Nick Cavanna, has committed to further his academic and athletic career at Northampton Community College, where he will major in Sports Medicine and play baseball. Throughout high school, he has been a four-year member of both the football and baseball teams, showcasing his determination on and off the field. He is also involved in a sports medicine internship at the high school, gaining valuable hands-on experience in his future field. In addition to his athletics, he has been involved in Key Club, Mini-THON, and has volunteered for the Dream League run by The Reading Phillies Organization, demonstrating a strong dedication to service and school spirit. Lydia Smith, Lydia Smith, daughter of Diane and Bradley Smith, will be attending Meredith College, where she will study mathematics, play field hockey, and compete in track and field. Lydia was selected to the Berks All-Division I Field Hockey Team twice and was a two-time county qualifier in track and field. She served as a captain in both sports during her senior year. In addition, she was a member of Exeter’s swimming team throughout high school and qualified for districts in her senior season. Academically, Lydia earned honor roll distinction every year and was an active member of the National Honor Society. Callan Stuck, son of Joanna and the late Thomas Stuck, will be continuing his academic and athletic career at Penn State Berks University where he will play men's soccer and studying Kinesiology, hoping one day to become a physical therapist. Callan played varsity soccer all four years at Exeter and was named All-BCIAA Division 1 team two times, and All-BCIAA Division 1 Honorable Mention one time, he was team captain senior year and was chosen for the Berks All-Star soccer game. Callan was also the leading scorer and had the most assists on the soccer team this past season. Callan was selected to play on the Reading United Men’s USL Reserve soccer team beginning as a junior and will play again with the team this summer. Callan currently plays for the FC Revolution Knights u19 team. Academically, Callan has achieved Golden and Silver Eagle during high school. Genuine Stutzman, son of Brittany and William Stutzman brother of Gianna Stutzman will be pursuing his Academic and athletic future at Bloomsburg University, where he will be studying Business and majoring in Accounting, and playing Football! Genuine was a 2 way starter and a Captain for Exeter. Genuine started for 3 years and made 1st Team All State Tight End, 1st Team All Academic, 2nd Team Defense, and 1st Team Offense. He has made these more than once during his years playing football for Exeter Township. He also played Basketball up to his Sophomore year. Genuine is a Mentor for the Reiffton program where gets the opportunity to go sit and talk with younger youth that will be the face for Exeter one day. It has been a privilege and an honor for Genuine to play football for Exeter Township.
