A cowardly 2 AM vehicle crime spree in Reiffton has the Exeter Police Department investigating roughly ten incidents, including the ransacking of open cars and the theft of two vehicles from one residence.
It occurred on Monday, July 14th, in the area of E. 34th St., but the group of what appears to be three teenagers did cross Perkiomen Ave and hit W. 34th St., too.
The Exeter Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding the individuals who are responsible. The above video was pieced together from cameras on three properties in Reiffton.
The two vehicles that were stolen were a white 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander, license plate #LLH 4687, and a grey 2024 Dodge Durango, license plate #MRD0999.
Lieutenant Sean Fullerton, public information officer for the Exeter PD, urged the public to remove valuables from their cars, lock them, keep their eyes open, and report any suspicious activity, no matter your neighborhood. In the past, these things have occasionally jumped from place to place. “A good, vigilant community is our best asset to deter crime, so if you see something, say something. And if you recognize any of the individuals, please call the Exeter PD at 610-779-1490, and reference Case #25-25-16813. Our detectives are investigating this incident, and we will find these people and make arrests at the appropriate time.”
