They had this guy dead to rights in a proceeding, and couldn't muster the ability to get rid of him. So do you think they're going to move on this one, which is admittedly a low level crime? The DA has refused to move on it, telling me that the Attorney General is the proper venue for action, then when I went to the AG they said, "We can't act without a referral from your DA." This is a giant protection racket by politicians. The best we can do is go to the meetings, tell the people in public comment what a crook this clown is, then make sure we vote him out when he runs next year.
